General

PaceWise is a budget-pacing platform built for agencies running paid advertising for multiple clients. It connects to your ad accounts, tracks actual spend against each client's monthly budget in real time, and warns you before a client goes over — so you're not manually checking four different ad platforms to catch overspend.
Digital marketing agencies managing paid campaigns for multiple clients across one or more ad platforms — from solo operators managing a handful of clients to large agencies managing dozens.
Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and TikTok Ads today, with Meta Ads coming soon. You can connect any combination of these per client.
PaceWise is read-only by default. It only ever makes a change — pausing a campaign, shifting a daily budget — after you explicitly confirm it. Nothing happens automatically without your say-so, and every change PaceWise makes is logged to an audit history you can review.
It's our core principle: PaceWise will surface a recommendation (e.g. "Client X is pacing 40% over budget — pause this campaign?") but never acts on it until you click confirm. You stay in control of every dollar.
Yes — the Demo plan is free, with 1 client, and doesn't require a credit card.
Yes. PaceWise tracks spend, budgets and performance data through each platform's API — it doesn't read or depend on the language of your ad copy or campaign names, so campaigns in any language are paced and managed the same way as English ones.
PaceWise automatically syncs spend and performance data from every connected ad platform every 15 minutes, so pacing figures and dashboards stay current without any manual refreshing.
Only in one specific case: Auto-pause, which is on by default per client and automatically pauses a client's campaigns once spend hits 100% of budget to prevent overspend (it can be turned off if you'd rather approve it manually). Everything else — budget-shift suggestions and other recommendations — is write-on-confirm: PaceWise surfaces a recommendation but never acts on it until you click confirm.

Pricing & Plans

Plans are priced by your trailing 30-day ad spend under management, not by client count or seats. Clients and team members are unlimited on every paid plan — you only pay more as your total managed spend grows.
The combined spend across every ad account you've connected to PaceWise, over the trailing 30 days.
Unlimited. There's no per-client fee — you're billed only on total spend under management.
Every paid plan allows up to 100 connected ad accounts, regardless of tier. The Demo plan is capped at 1 client instead.
PaceWise will show a nudge recommending the next tier up once your trailing spend exceeds your current plan's limit. You can upgrade any time from the Billing page — it takes effect immediately, with a pro-rated charge for the rest of your billing period.
Yes. Paying annually instead of monthly saves you roughly two months' worth of cost across every plan.
That's our Enterprise tier — custom pricing, no self-serve checkout. Request a quote and we'll put a number together for your portfolio.
Yes. Downgrades (including back down to Demo) take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, so you keep what you paid for through the current period.
Yes, there's no lock-in contract. Downgrading to Demo effectively cancels paid billing at your next renewal date.
The Demo plan functions as an open-ended free trial for a single client — there's no time limit, and no card required to start.
Most budget-pacing and PPC optimization tools only offer a 14-day free trial and charge $350–$900+/month once you're managing meaningful ad spend. PaceWise's Demo plan is free forever — not just a trial — and paid plans start at $45/month billed annually ($55/month billed monthly), staying at or below the lowest-priced options in the category at every spend bracket we've compared.

Getting Started

Sign up, connect at least one ad account from the Connect page, assign it to a client, and set that client's monthly budget. PaceWise starts tracking pacing immediately.
Most agencies are up and running in under 10 minutes for their first client — connecting an account is a standard OAuth login to your ad platform.
No — the Demo plan is free and doesn't ask for payment details.
There's nothing to import manually. Once you connect an ad account, PaceWise automatically pulls in every active campaign on it.

Connecting Ad Accounts

From the Connect page, click "Connect" (or "Connect another") next to the platform you want, and log in through that platform's own secure sign-in screen. PaceWise never sees or stores your ad platform password.
Yes. Connections use each platform's official OAuth authorization flow — PaceWise receives a scoped access token, not your login credentials, and only requests the specific permissions it needs (read access, plus the ability to pause/resume campaigns and edit daily budgets).
Yes — click "Connect another" to add as many accounts as you need, across all four supported platforms, up to your plan's account limit.
Read access to campaign and performance data, plus two specific write permissions: pausing/resuming a campaign and editing a campaign's daily budget. PaceWise never requests broader account, billing, or user-management permissions.
Yes, any time, from the Connect page — this immediately revokes PaceWise's access to that account.
Safety by design

Nothing Touches a Live Campaign Without Your Click

PaceWise reads by default and writes only on confirmation. Every pause, every budget edit shows you exactly what will change before it happens — and lands in an audit trail after.

How It Works

Budget Pacing & Overspend Protection

You set a monthly budget per client. PaceWise compares actual spend-to-date against an ideal daily pace and flags clients as on-track, under-pacing, or over-pacing — visible at a glance on your Dashboard and Portfolio views.
An optional alert that emails you when a client's spend hits 85–90% of their budget, so you have time to react before they go over.
Protection that automatically pauses a client's campaigns once spend hits 100% of budget, preventing further overspend. It's on by default for every new client, and is a separate toggle from Early warning.
Yes, it can be switched off per client at any time if you want manual control instead — but it's on by default, since the whole point of setting a budget is for it not to be overspent.
No. Budget-shift suggestions between campaigns on the same platform require your explicit confirmation before anything changes — nothing moves on its own.
Intra-channel suggestions (moving budget between two campaigns on the same platform) can be applied with one click after you confirm. Cross-channel suggestions (e.g. "shift budget from Google to Meta") are advisory only — PaceWise will never move money between platforms automatically, since that requires separate action in each platform's own ad manager.
Yes. Every change PaceWise makes — pauses, budget edits — is recorded in a change-history audit log you can review at any time.
Yes — in Client settings you can set a custom monthly reset day (e.g. the 15th) instead of the calendar month's 1st, and every pacing calculation follows that custom cycle automatically. It currently supports a shifted one-month cycle rather than arbitrary date ranges or non-monthly billing periods.

Client Reporting

Clean, client-ready reports pulled directly from your connected ad platforms — no PaceWise branding, ready to send to your clients as-is.
Reports are white-label by design, built to represent your agency rather than PaceWise.
Yes — pick a language per client from Client settings or the Reports page, and reports go out in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch or Polish. Metric names like ROAS and CPA stay in English in every language, since those are terms your clients and team already recognize.
No — by design, client-facing reports only ever show actual results: Spent, Budget, Conversions, and CPA. We deliberately exclude pacing and projection figures from anything sent to clients, since those are internal working numbers for your team, not client deliverables.
Every report includes a short written Summary above the numbers — grounded entirely in that client's real data, stating the headline spend and CPA trend plus whichever of these are genuinely notable that period: the top-converting campaign, a campaign whose CPA is climbing, the most-improved campaign, and how ROAS compares to last period. A quiet period just gets the headline numbers — nothing is invented to fill space.
Report data reflects your latest synced spend and performance figures from each connected platform.

Team & Collaboration

Yes, from the Team page — invite as many people as you need to your agency's PaceWise account.
Owner, Admin, Manager, and Viewer — each with different levels of access, from full account/billing control down to read-only visibility.
No — team members are unlimited on every plan, including Demo.

Billing & Payments

Credit and debit cards, processed securely through Stripe. We don't currently support PayPal or bank transfers.
Immediately (pro-rated) when you upgrade to a paid plan or move to a higher tier. After that, you're billed on your regular monthly or annual renewal date.
You'll always see your current plan and next renewal date on the Billing page, and Stripe emails a receipt for every successful payment.
Stripe automatically retries failed payments and will email you if action is needed. You can update your card at any time from the Billing page.
Yes — every invoice is available as a downloadable PDF from your Billing page.

Security & Data

PaceWise uses industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest, and ad platform connections use each platform's official OAuth flow rather than storing your passwords.
No. PaceWise never sees or stores your ad platform password — connections use OAuth access tokens, which you can revoke at any time from the platform's own account settings or from PaceWise's Connect page.
Your data remains associated with your agency account. If you have questions about data deletion, reach out to support and we'll walk you through it.
